Living: Are celebrities the cause of our problems?

I have a feeling the obsession with celebrities like Paris Hilton may be a big cause of all of our mental and social problems. It seems unhealthy for such a large mass of people to be tracking the decisions of spoiled rich blonde girls.

If people like Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson suddenly dropped off the face of the earth, maybe society would wake from their hypnosis. What do you think?

well to be a bit fair.... it would be dificult to reasearch what would happen if they droped off the face of the earth :P

And although i highly doubt that alot of mental and social problems are caused by them, i do think that its absolutely retarded that people pay so much attention to all the little bs that celebs do every day. i meen.... theres a 5 million dollar bounty on a pic of anjalina (sp i know.... shows how much i pay attention right :P) and brads baby

update: jolie-pitt is now bringing in 8 mil........ wtf...... thats more then ill make in my whole life and this fucken kid made it in 2 days of being alive
