So, i'm finally getting around to upgrading my PC, problem is, I'm a relative noob to all this and I'm not quite sure if the parts I have in mind will work with each other. Could one of you guys tell me if this stuff will work alright?

-eVGA Geforce 7600GT 256-P2-N553-AX Video Card
    -AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2000MHz HT Socket 939 Processor
    -ASUS A8N5X ATX AMD Motherboard
-CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Dual Channel Kit System Memory

After googling the parts to find out the details...

your processor socket and self matches with what your motherboard takes
    your motherboard can take DDR-SDRAM
you don't exceed the maximum RAM your motherboard can take (obviously to some)
your motherboard takes 184 pin RAM

Looks good so far, but I don't know how many watts your power supply has; from what I can see, you'll need 350+, but you might need more.

Also, I couldn't find out if your video card is AGP or PCI, but that shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't have other components all over the place in that motherboard.

Other than that, it all looks good. Good luck with your new stuff.
