These days, developers are constantly making new ways to integrate technology. A lot of people are pressing towards a PC/TV. You can even download TV shows on your computer now through iTunes and other services.

I personally don't want to watch all my tv shows on a monitor, I'd much rather just walk over to the damn TV. One thing that I'd like to see is a TiVo-like system that runs on your computer, collecting TV shows through your network cable line, and then have your computer networked with your TV so you can forward shows to the TV. That would be efficient.

    What do you think?

The only time i ever use my TV is to watch DVDs, and im even starting to use my PC for that now. i think its mainly because of the excessive amount of crap on TV these days, the few shows that i actually watch i download via Bittorrent and watch on my PC. So yeah, phasing out TV would simply make my life easier.
I'd take it or leave it.
