    The 3d browser SphereXPlorer was just released. It's built off the .NET framework.

    It's kind of fun to play around with, but is far from convinient. I guess the advantage to a 3D browser is that you can switch between multiple websites in the same window - but Firefox tabs works way better.

    Ultimately, 3D browsing could be the future of the web, however the web was built for a 2D environment and just works better that way

    Again, it's fun to use the web in 3D but doesn't go far beyond that.
