    A New Jersey school district will pay $117,500 to a student who was punished for creating a website that criticized his middle school. The website also apparently contained a guest book with antisemitic comments. The school was upset over the website and suspended the kid for a week.

    I guess that's one way to get a free ride through college...

    good for him. he deserves that money after what they did. sure what he did may not have been right, but he was expressing his freedom of speech. if we start limiting some freedoms, eventually, they will all be limited

    We've already started limiting freedoms. We're hardly free at all anymore. This just goes to show how stupid this country has become.

    Well, you can thank the conservatives for limiting our freedoms, which seems somewhat ironic. Infact, the web seems to be the only place where all freedom remains intact.

    2 reasons.

    a. its hard to regulate

    b. newspapers and tv have to be censored somewhat because kids might be watching... and god forbid we let them hear the f word out of school.... and their freinds..... and parents.... and and and
