I realized that I haven't cleaned - let alone open my PC box - in a year now. I've always just used a dry cloth and a vacuum for dust. I don't know if it's the best though. What do you use to clean dust from your parts?

a vaccum is a good idea but not a powerful one, also try and find some kinda air brush or those cans that spray air and use it to loosen any dust in ur fan or motherboad or anything else for that matter, then use the vaccum to get it all out

yeah all I use is a can of compressed air and a rag...and ethenol for the parts I clean but you have to let them dry for like 4-7 days if you use ethenol on them so you might not want to do that.
