LimeWire is working on new code that will block non-licensed material. The new code checks to see if shared material is licensed, if it is not, the LimeWire client will politely inform the user, 'LimeWire can't determine if one or more files have been published under a suitable license. These files will not be shared.'

I'm surprised LimeWire, of all groups, is cracking down on piracy. I bet they received a threatening email from the MPAA or something.

I thought they were just adding a pop-up saying: "This file is not licensed, continue to download?" or something to that effect.

They already added that. I assume this move is to prevent them from being sued.
