    Yesterday Adult Swim announced the specific time that Neon Genesis Evangelion will begin airing: Thursdays, starting October 20th, at 12:30 a.m. (New episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist will also start airing on Saturday, starting on September 17th at Midnight). I'm looking forward to this since the show is one of those anime legends that few people have actually seen.

    Plot Summary[/b:46488b33c8]
    At the age of 14 Shinji Ikari is summoned by his father to the city of Neo Tokyo-3 after several years of separation. There he unwillingly accepts the task of becoming the pilot of a giant biological humanoid by the name EVA01 and protect the world from the enigmatic invaders known as angels. Even though he repeatedly questions why he has accepted this mission from his estranged and cold father, his doing so helps him to gradually accept himself. But why exactly are the angels attacking and what are his father’s true intentions.

    yeah this anime rocks. if u havnt seen it well u should its great about the sotry line and stuff but i like the comic books (or manga watever) better

    Yea I read the first book but actually didn't like it all that much. I think it might have been the translation or something.. The dialouge was just kind of boring.. Something about it.

    OMFG EVA IS MY FAVE ANIME...i cant believe this is great...THE MOVIE is great it it makes me sad at times. You guys should so watch the movie...

    Hm.. So the last few episodes must be what I keep hearing about, "End of Evangelion." I heard it was pretty good.. How does it lose the plot?

    yup the end its pretty good movie yet so confusing but if u know the series u understand it....

    End of Evangeliion is the movie which is also an alternate ending. It makes a hell of a lot more sense than the TV series' one.
