I was just thinking to myself today, exactly how long have we all been together? I know some have been here longer than others but I mean how long has OP, OD, etc. been around. This question includes TFF cause I am not sure which came first...

Furthermore, what are some of your favorite memories here...

My favorite memory is when Rez, takai, and myself all played GoGo ball 2 vs 1 and i still pwned lol!

P.S. i think we should hold some kind of anniversary event celebrating our time here together on one of the many online games we play, or in OP chat...

It all started way back in the day...Back in a time where cars were driven, curtesy of Fred's two feet, and pigs could fly...I was a young lad back then, and things were good....

Anywayz, it started with TFF. That's not to give credit for OP to TFF. That's just where it started. TFF is old. I think it turned 5 in June. That's old, considering how long these things usually last. In any case...Let's see...

TFF was around for a while, when we moved to GC. It was around then that we established the forums. It was pretty much just me and Blank back then. Maybe Mullen too, but I'm not sure very many got to know him. Then along came Sordes and a guy named TITUS, who aparently never made the impact Sordes did. Over time, takai, Durrendel, and Rez came along. A few others, but I assume you're talking about the older, more recognizable guys. During this time, a few of us (takai, Rez, myself, etc.) were posting on the forums at sega.com. From those forums, TFF became involved with a clan called......RL (had to think of the name...). Deckon Frost, better known as Frosty, was a member of RL, we well as Natar, and a few others who you may recopgnize, but never made a very big impact in this little family of ours. These people include Rob, and...Payam? Maybe? Probably a few others, too...Wait, was Natar in RL? I think so....Anywayz, TFF hated RL cause they sucked and they were n00bs. Some people in RL knew that, and registered at TFF's forums, cause we clearly pwned them. That's how we came to become close to Frosty, and Natar.

Moving on to more takai's story...takai, still a member of TFF, created a website that I believe was called Phantasy Star Nights, a set of forums dedicated to those of us who couldn't sleep because we were too obcessed with PSO. Frosty and I were the first two to register, though I'm not entirely sure exactly which one was first. It was probably him. Reguardless...PSN was nifty, but it didn't go very far, nor did it last very long, because soon after, as we all know takai for doing, he changed it and made it better. From there, it became known as Phantasy Yuusha (I think), which means something, but I forget what exactly. That lasted a little longer, but I guess takai got bored of it or something. Then came the creation of Orange Dream (OD for short). It was during the time of OD that the lesser known folk, such as Natar, became bigger names in our little family. OD lasted for, I dunno...A year and a half? Maybe a little shorter. I dunno. A rather long time, reguardless. Then, OD got haxxx0rd or something. Which I guess was ok, cause they were on proboards, which < poop. Then, Frosty was kind enough to offer takai and the gang a home at OESM. I don't remember if takai remade OD, or went straight to OP...But somewhere along the line, OP was born. Oh, no wait, before that was DCO: Dreamcast Online. But I guess that wasn't too successful. And, now we're here at OP, doing stuff.

There's a lot more little stories in there. And I could've gone into a little more detail about TFF and what not, but...Eh. Anywayz, if you wanted an exact length of time, you can't have one. But Blank and I came to GC PSO about 3 years ago. And the rest is explained above.

Just over 2 years for me, seems a LOT longer than that.
And yes we should do somthing, but wait till takai and Tatlin come back and we cna think of it. Onky thing is Frosty did another disapearing act, so it wont quite be everyone :(.

Also gary for the record, its a lot easier to play Go Go ball when you dont have to try and pass to people....

Uhhhh...Team Ownage was an Ep 3 team consisting of takai and Rez, much like T & A :TFF:, mine and Tatlin's team. And Team Inferno was one of the "little stories" I convieniently excluded. I could've gone over every little event I remembered, but that would've been a huge ass post.

And takai likes to "upgrade" his forums, giving them a number after the name. That's why there were so many ODs. There was really only one (or 2), but he kept making it better and better.

You asked how long. I gave you an answer. You then asked about TO, and why I excluded Inferno. Again, I gave you an answer. ~_~

As for my favorite memory....TFF Events', September of 2003, when takai made the comic series as an advertisement that no one actually read but us. Funny shit. I hope he still has it so everyone else can read it.

Yeah. That was also what started Sordes with his Rappy obcession, as well as the eating of Hisoka's toe jam.

there ya go doing what you always do.... taking stuff from other threads, other debates abd draging it into other threads where it doesnt belong

ya know, this is why i quit TFF and why i refuse to go back, because you wont get over yourself and grow up

What the fuck? You took a joke, and turned it into a bitch fit. Nice job. What I said had nothing to do with any other thread, it was an addition to the ongoing joke that we are all gay. How about you go back and think about it, cause you clearly didn't the first time. Now you're just being a dick.

Good times. I think my favorite memory on OD was when me and Frosty made Rez go through like 3 weeks of initiation in order for him to become an admin XD

He made "Vote for Rez" advertisements and everything too, and Frosty had to school him in how to use correct grammar rofl.

But yeah, even though it's fun to think of all the good memories, just want to remind everyone that OpenPost.NET has NOTHING to do with any of my previous sites/affiliations (including OD and TFF). It's like saying that the Sega.com boards were affiliated with TFF just because Ash posted there. And just because I was apart of the PSO clan TFF while I worked on things like Phantasy Yuusha, that doesn't mean my forums and sites have anything to do with it.

The simple fact is: a couple people from these forums may be in the clan TFF, and some of OP's members have been apart of OD, but not everyone is.

I'm just trying to get at the fact that instead of always looking back at 'once was', we need to welcome the new members and try to make this forum become better than anything we've done before.

I like how we have a forum family though that's been together for this long.. 3 or some odd years now. Wow o_o
