    I think most people realize Nintendo is pretty good unless they are other machine fanboys, but if Nintendo really owned alot they would have made Halo, but then again that isn't their thing because they are geared toward everyone of all ages

    Nintendo owns but not as much as Xbox does! Sure the Mario games are fun at first, but they end up real boring real fast. They've made enough of the ages 1-12 games now they should concentrate on 16+!

    Hey Natar, you got a Best Buy near you? if so, go there, and sign up for Gamefly. Gamefly is an only game rental, where they send you the games in the mail (free S&H both ways), not late fee, and it's just a per monht charge..

    Why mention that? Well I figure that you are sick and tired of buying game after game for the Xbox to find that they suck, this way you can rent it, and find out that it sucks, instead of dropping $50 on every new game...

    Besides cross platform games (which everyone knows looks better on the GameCube anyway), the ONLY good games that are ont he Xbox are Halo, and Mechassault. ANY game that was released on the Xbox first, then on other platforms months later has tonnes of extras on the versions released on the other platforms...for example, the GC version of Splinter cell... you hook up your game boy, and BAM, instant map. It also has an stealth weapon...

    So, sorry dude, but Microsoft sucks...in addition to that, the new Xbox system will NOT have a HDD, and will NOT be backwards compatible...looks liek oyu'd have to buy an entirely new library, instead of playing the games you have now on your new system when it comes out...

    hell, even nintendo is gonna be backwards compatible with the new "Revolution"

    It's news to me that the new xB wont have an HDD. Seems more like a cut to make sure the xB2 price tag isn't too big...

    And honestly, the XBox doesn't suck. You all know it. Wether you like it or not, the XBox specs BLOW the other 2 systems away. Just because GCN has kawaii 1" disks doesn't mean it's the most powerful thing to land in your living room.

    I'm not trying to bash the Gamecube, I'm just laying the facts. I don't like what Microsoft stands for, infact I hate a lot of the things they've done.. Like release xB.

    Don't look at me though, I'm with Sega...

    BUt Takai, the GC has Blue laser tech, being the first product for sale that has such technology. It also uses a "mac" based CPU< thus owning the Xbox's CPU. And as for graphics? The GC uses ATI technology, the Xbox uses nVidia, in comparisons between the two cards, the GC GPU is only slgihtly behind the Xbox in terms of power, but coupled with the incredible high compression of the blue laser and it's discs, the GC is capable of better graphics (more information can be stored on the discs than the Xbox...

    And Takai...look at the library for the sstems...tell the truth, there are more games on the GC that you'd like to play than on the Xbox (not including cross platform games, as availability on all systesm rules them out)

    Yes, the GCN library is much more attracting..
    Nintendo AND Sega on a single console, :D

    I'm having a hard time finding a simple list of GCN specs..

    Ok, basically Sony Playstation 0wNs. And there is not one of you out there who can say EVERY single game Sony/SCEA has made was a crash and burn! I have sold my Xbox for a few reasons: 1. I actually counted how many times it either blacked out, turned itself off, or froze. 23 TIMES! Sounds wrong but its true. 2. Its true xbox has at least a few good games but that doesnt mean that they dont get boring also! So thats gone. I still have my GCN but I get bored of it real quick (no I dont have pso...). So I have been playing my PSX and PS2 alot lately and I never get bored. I need a challenge in my games, and basically for me GCN and Xbox dont supply that challenge, so basically Sony 0wNs.

    yes they make good quality stuff, and the game library is EXTREMELY extensive, but many of them are flops and/or multi-platform releases

    x-box..... well...... lets just say there the only system to go into production with VIRUSES still written into the programing...... yea, nuf said

    one last thing natar, how in the fuck do you have a psx? :lol: :lol:

    I think he means the original PS, sometimes it's called the PSX.

    And the only reason Sony has a such a huge library is their genious market timing. If they had released the PS2 at the same time as the XBox, I'm almost positive the Gamecube would be the most popular system on the market...

    OH, and you also have all the parents to thank out there that buy their kids a PS2. Stupid parents. Phhhhl.
