Well, if you're slow, stupid, or just haven't heard yet, Sega and Sonic Team have OFFICLALLY announced the release details for the long anticipated Phantasy Star Universe game.

First things first...Lay all doubt to rest, my friends, as this game WILL BE ONLINE. They haven't given too many details as to how network play will be set up, or how the online vs. offline play works, but this is still definatlly very good news.

As for platforms, this will probably disappoint many of you...I know it did me...So far, PSU has only been announced for release on the PlayStation 2, and the PC. Sorry Gamecube guys...But maybe they'll change their mind?

And last but not least, yes, they have given an official release date!!! But don't start saving up just yet; the game isn't set to be released until February of 2006. That's a lot of waiting...How can we last so long??
