Well interesting story, the PSP launched 3 days ago (at the time of this posting) and we have already had 20+ units returned....

MANY of the units have pixels already blown RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, not to mention discoloration, and faulty games...

Seems like Sony finally topped the PS2 Launch...

Get this, Sony isn't even giving retailers demo units for customers to try.

$250 for each system.. and they aren't even trying to let people try it out before hand... seems pretty damn cheap to me...

I posted a news article about this a while back talking about all the bugs, before it was even released here.. There's quite a few.. It's pretty funny.

The fact that they release it here without working out the bugs just puts Sony even deeper into the label of 'mass producing defective products all for the money'

The PSP is much more eye appealing to me than the DS, but the hefty price tag and bugs really make it look like shit. I think after a few models of bug-solving and price-dropping, the PSP might look a little better... Not that I want it too though. I'd rather see Nintendo pull some fire with their DS. I think in the long run Nintendo is headed in the right direction by trying new ways to play games.

I can't believe people are actually willing to pay $250 before they even try it though, rofl...

Ive never been much of a fan for hand held gaming, personally i think they are stupidly overpriced and the screens are way too small.

    Sony is.. ? That's crazy..
Pretty common with companies in the gaming industry to be in debt after a system launch, but 60 billion... I should look up and see how much Sega was in debt for when they called of the Dreamcast.

Keep in mind that Sony has Home entertainment products (TV's, DVD Players, surround sound systems, etc), Home Computer products, CAr-Audio equipment, and MANY other various forms of electronis in the industry, NOT Just Gaming...

    Sony's NOT going anywhere...
