So, anyone here play an instrument? What kind of stuff do you like to play?

I've been playing guitar for a while, still not very good *cusses and yells at sweeping arpeggios*, but I'm competent enough. Mostly play different sorts of metal, mainly Carcass and Children of Bodom stuff, but I also like to Jimi Hendrix and Guns n' Roses stuff.

I also play a bit of keyboard. Mainly play Final Fantasy tunes on it, Kuja's Theme [FFIX] being my fave.

So, let's here from you peeps.

lol Tatlin you need to show a picture of your keyboard... I've never seen one that had a piano-keyboard built into it.

I've been playing electric guitar for 2 years now.. I'm improving slowly. I love to play Metal. It's the funnest thing to play on the guitar imo. But I usually end up playing more punk than anything because it's so easy to play. I should really practice more though.. I had to quit taking lessons because I didn't devote enough time to practicing at home, haha.

Kuro, you play Jimi? That's awesome. I've never tried to learn, always figured it'd be too advanced.. Maybe I'll pick some up.

Like everyone at some point I wanted to join a band, become rich and famous for my music, etc etc. I gave up on that a long time ago.. But it would still be fun to get recognized for your music someday.

Yup, I like to make a point of playing non metal stuff from time to time, to keep things fresh. It's best not to stick to the same style all the time, imo. I like finding contrasts between different styles and working with them.

I started out with lessons, but I gave them up and never really picked up my guitar. It wasn't until about a year and a half ago when I got access to tabs did I really get into guitar and start to improve. I never set out time to practise for myself, I just let it come naturally and I just play for the fun of it. I'll pick up my guitar whenever and practise sometimes for only 10 mins then others times for like 2 solid hours. Don't feel like you have to commit to anythin', just play for the fun of it, man, it'll draw you deeper in, I assure you
