You can now SpellCheck your posts with a click of a button. I know a lot of people having been dreaming this day would come... Well here it is. So let's only hope this improves our posts to a degree.

I didn't feel this was front page material so I just posted it here to let everyone know :)

Haha I wonder how many people from the UK we have here. I only know Rez is from there... Silly British and their 'ou's. After all, are you going to trust the country that came up with the English Measurement System?

we all know that spelling "colour", "vigour", "honour" et al with a "u" is the only way to spell them.

and that "traveller" has two ls, also.

What happened to the simple way of going to school to learn how to spell? Now technology does it for us... So sad...

Man, I've been so tempted to edit people's post around here and use the SpellCheck on them. Come on people, SpellCheck your posts! You look like a fool when you don't! It also helps if you use English grammer to some degree...

Well, if you think about it, these online forums, are just a way to escape having to use perfect grammar in real life. You should save your perfect grammar and spelling for your boss/teachers/parents etc.

Yes but using acronyms such as "LOL" and shortened text like 4's and u's and y's and all that could cause your grammar and spelling skills to decrease. I used to be the same way but being on a few messageboards changed me and now I always use correct text except for appropriate occasions.

Well, it depends on how much time you spend online and in real life. I mean, if you don't have enough attachment to whats real and whats not. you will mess up. I used to use "ua, and 4, and yea" all the time online but I never let it interfere with my writing in reality. Point is, just remember whats right and whats wrong! ...Ok so I used the Spellcheck for this message... Doesn't mean I don't know how to spell!

*Edit* The spellchecker could also correct the grammar. Now THAT would be amazing. I would definitely use that!

Well, I don't think grammar is such a big deal online. But there's a point when it's no longer just annoying, and it's actually hard to read people's posts because they make so little sense.

Also I just want to let everyone know that you can[/b:121d459021] upload your images to OP from your profile. Just in case you didn't know that.

Unless you're a perfectionist of course! Bottom line: Thank you for the SpellChecker thingy-ma-jig. It really comes in handy.
